New Artist…Amanda González

Amanda González is beginning in the music business. She is only 22 years old and already recorded a three song professional demo: “Identity”, “On the Side of the Road”, and “Little Box”. It is not a secret that nowadays it’s very difficult for new artists to start a professional career, but that’s no reason to not give it a try. Internet is an excellent media to reach thousands of people and that is what Amanda has decided to do.

Producciones Altavoz, Inc. as primary production company and NAY Entertainment, Inc. as co-producer company will produce Amanda first single’s video “Little Box”.

This is how Amanda González describes her interest and passion for music:

"Metal was my gateway “drug” to music. I started hanging out with people who were into heavy metal and skateboarding, and who were smoke-happy, friendly, and accepting individuals. I thought they were the best people I had ever met in my whole short inexperienced life. Before I knew it, I was listening to bands like System of a Down, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Hole, Offspring, Enanitos Verdes, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Cultura Profética, Robi Draco Rosa, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and I became fascinated, entranced with the whole rock-n-roll genre itself, and so I began investigating its roots. And on this adventurous quest I discovered that my favorite music lay in the past. With artists like The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, ACDC, Janis Joplin, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Motorhead, Guns-n-Roses, Motley Crue, I had my fix of the good stuff to last me a lifetime. 


I started moving into other genres like blues, jazz, folk, reggae and fellow bad-ass chicks like Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Alanis Morissette, Liz Phair, Pink, Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Lily Alle, among others. Some way I try to reach out to all these stimulants when I write my music. I hope to be on the list of songs that people just dig forever and ever, like skinny-dipping. I’m getting my music out there on my own and I plan on adding more to this website very soon. So if you like what you hear, make sure you keep tuning in! I’d like to take you on a ride, on an escapade, see what’s happening behind the door, around the corner, through the maze…"


Amanda has a great advantage as an artist, and is that she not only sings but she is also a songwriter. The video “Little Box” will count with a lot of attractive elements, in which viewers will be able to appreciate her voice, performance and originality. Plus technically speaking the video will be filmed in High Definition (HD) and the editing will be very dynamic.
Presenting something different not only in the music business but also in any media of the Entertainment industry is what makes the difference. Consumers want diverse options and Amanda González is one of them.
